The Casiotron was a computerized watch. It featured the ability to keep a current date, despite different month lengths and leap years. This feature was truly unique for this time in watch history. After this first watch, Casio kept introducing watches with advanced features. One watch, the C-80, had a built in calculator. There was another watch, the T-1500, that featured a dictionary. Such great features helped move Casio watches to the top of the market.

Today Casio is still at the top of the industry. They are still providing revolutionary designs and features that are new to the market and consumers like that. The newest line of G-Shock watches are chunky, bold watches that stand apart from the thin, smaller watches elsewhere in the industry. Casio will surely have more to show in the future as they continue with their success in the watch industry.
