Since a watch is probably the most important piece of jewelry a man will wear, it is important that the watch on his wrist matches the occasion on which it is worn. If you are going to the gym to work out, wearing your Rolex watch is probably over-kill. Likewise wearing a LED watch with a black plastic band with a tuxedo is also in bad taste.
The watch you wear says a lot about the person and while it is not necessary to have a different watch for every occasion, it is important that the watch you wear a watch to match the style of the occasion. A nice gold watch with matching gold band will fit in just about anywhere at work to most social occasions. If your gold band broke and you are wearing a silver replacement band, wearing it around the house may be suitable but probably not in public. A stainless steel watch is usually dressy enough for most occasions yet durable enough for play and it is possible to be waterproof as well. Although you normally do not worry about a water proof watch as you would usually not wear it in the swimming pool but it can be good if you are caught in a heavy rain. The size of the face is another consideration, as the he-man watch you bought can look ridiculously big or small on your wrist, depending on your size. If a large person is wearing a small watch face, it may look like a children’s watch, or worse, if a man is wearing a too-small watch it may appear to be women’s watch. The color of the watch is equally important when it comes to making an impression. Wearing a watch with the face the same color as the band may seem to be trendy, but it is not very professional. For business and most casual attire, stay with gold or silver. For closeout watches up to 90% off retail visit Watchcloseouts.net
